The Materials Can Change unit involves kitchen science. It is suitable for late Foundation to year 4, although could be used up to year 6. This unit is part of the chemical sciences and is an introduction to states of matter. The child will be learning and exploring physcial and chemical changes in materials, construction of food and clothing and recycling.
To complete this unit you will need Youtube access for short videos and cooking facilities. Materials needed are:
